Allsop is the UK’s largest and most successful property auction house in the UK. In an unpredictable world, they remain a constant leader and source of market intelligence.

Allsop’s online auction business has experienced unprecedented growth, as a critical path to purchase it was essential that integration between systems and automation of functionality was maximised to ensure smooth customer service and effective management of data.

Allsop’s systems processes relied on a number of legacy systems that were becoming strained under change in market demands.

Working closely with the team at Allsop, Propel Tech took time to understand the scope of the existing auction systems - establishing the as-is situation and then planning how to optimise any new system moving forward. A core deliverable system that would streamline processes and make the actual auction itself faster and far more efficient.

Within this Propel Tech identified a number of critical functions including; coping with extreme peaks in usage, developing a new auction catalogue, creating a mobile app, automating both marketing production, and property uploads to reduce manual input and minimise costs. A single web-based auction management system was the recommended solution.   

In order to ensure excellent ROI, the project itself was optimised by using  React, Laravel to deliver the back end technology infrastructure and NativeScript was used to build the mobile app which meant that Propel Tech only had to build the app once for both Android and IOS.
